A family craft from Harar

Boon was founded in the UAE in 2013 by Orit Mohammed, from Harar in Ethiopia, where coffee trading began. She comes from generations of farmers, traders and roasters, and that knowledge is in every bag.

The green beans come straight from Ethiopia, with select lots from Colombia and Brazil, and are roasted here in Dubai in small batches. Boon works closely with the farming communities, pays them fairly and invests in education there.
